Many people in Venezuela love going to the movies to watch the latest films. Do you consider you are one of them? How often do you go to the movies? What do you prefer: watching movies at home or at the cinema?
Which types of movies do you prefer? Why? Do you consider every movie has a message? Is it always good?

I'm not a big fan of contemporary films. Of course, there's always a new cool movie like Inglorious Bastards by Quentin Tarantino, Somewhere by Sophia Copolla, but is rare for me to find a new movie appealing. I like comedies, action and drama (good drama). Good movies I could mention? Well, Land of the Lost with Will Farrell is really funny and is kind of new, Hell Ride by Larry Bishop it's REALLY cool and well, Citizen Kane is no less than one of the greatest films ever made.
ResponderEliminarWell, I don't consider a movie fanatic, but i love watching movies. I'm not goin to the cinema very often, i prefer wathching movies at home, because it's more confortable. I like comedies, in especial Jim Carrey movies, romantic, acction and horror movies and i think that some movies have a message, sometimes positives and sometimes negative, just we have to know how to interpret it.

I don´t have preference for only one genre, but Y prefer to watch horror films and fiction films at cinema and romantic films at home. ResponderEliminarI absolutely love movies but I really adore romances films or romantic comedies although I also like drmas and I'm not huge fan of action films but there are a few action films I've enjoyed. I also belive that there's not a bad film as long as movie has some fans that makes it a good film for someone. My favorite movie is Love Actually because it shows that there are differents kinds of love, it's not always the typical Romeo and Juliet story or the Prince charming and the beautiful Princess story. Love comes in many diffent shapes and forms. It can be a father-son love, a friendship love or a brother and sister love. So that's why that's my favorite movie because shows that love is all around.
ResponderEliminarI'm a movieholic! I used to go to the movies once a week but not anymore. Sometimes I prefer to watch a movie at home sometimes at the cinema it depends on the type of film. I really like movies with content, deep movies that makes you think and reflect on things. I enjoy so much of the work from the directors Woody Allen, Sofia Coppola and Michel Gondry. Recently I'm very atracted to the work of actor Zack Galifianakis who is the main character from the movie Hangover 1 and 2, He has a particular sense of humor that fascinates me. I also like corean films like "Old Boy", "Time" and "Spring, summer, fall, winter and spring". Of course I love french films such as "Un prophète", "Amelie", "Jeux d'enfants", "Ensemble, c'est tout". Indie american movies are my favourites as well, like "Garden State", "Ghost World", "(500) days of summer". And finally but not last Clasic movies such as "Singing in the rain", "Rope", "Casablanca", "Gone with the wind", "Willy Wonka" and "The wizard of Oz" are awesome films, pieces of art that every person should see in a life time.
ResponderEliminarI´m going to the cinema almost each month and I enjoy a lot. I prefer watch movies at the cinema, although sometimes at home. I like watching romantic, fantasy, scary, action myths and leyends movies and some of my favourite are: Twilight, The Lord Of The Rings,Van Helsing, Harry Potter, Sweet November, Diary of a Passion, Saw, Mr. and Mrs Smith, Heart of Gentleman, recently I saw Black Swan and it was really amazing and interesting movie, you have to watch it! I think that movies have been created with a specific purpose, and also I think that they have positive and negative messages and in my opinion people will know how to decode Them .. if they are good or bad!
ResponderEliminarI forgot to mention that I’m not a big fan of theaters unless they play different kind of films. That’s why I don’t really go to Cines Unidos. I like going to the “Cine de Patio” because there’s always a good independent film to watch, sometimes they even play old Hollywood movies, that’s the kind of cinema I enjoy to watch.

I like comedies and ghost stories specially the last one, because people are always talking and screaming in the movies so for that reason I like to see that movies at home but I going to talk about "Bruce almighty" it´s a comedy that I really liked it.

Most of Venezuelan people love movies and maybe all people around the world love go to the movies constantly, some of us visit it more often than others but, all or most of us visit it at least one at year.
ResponderEliminarI like movies but, I don’t think that I am like moviegoer, I like music and I'd rather attend to a concert that to the cinema. Still I go to the movie sometimes because I enjoy sharing with my friends so I try to go with them at least once a month to watch a movie if I have money of course.
Well if I have to choose between watching a movie at the cinema or at home obviously I´d rather go to film but sometimes when I have no money to go I watch movies at home.
The films I like cartoons, comedies and interesting story because I don´t think all movies have a message at least not a good one and the good stories have it, and on the other hand cartoons and comedies are funny and make me laugh a lot like pirates of the Caribbean, it is one of my favorites!
HI, i prefer watching movies at the cinema bud i do more at home the obvious reason ¡ economy ! i love several kind of movies, i can enjoy a comedy, a science fitcion movie a scary movie in the same way ,i think the important thing is the message and how the story is told.i cryed whit every movie i mean i cry whit the saw can you believe it ? well i really get into the drama of the film.i always remenber movies like "the ring" , "the lords of the ring", " the stepfather" " yes sir " and i also remenber bad movies like hulk or jurassic park i fall asleep watching them.A good movie in my opinion has to have something that you can use in your life, a learning a reflection when a movie has that makes me feel happy.

When I was a child I really loved scary and leyends movies because I really enjoyed seeing people jumping and screaming in the middle of movie hahahahaha.. Nowadays I really love romantic and comedy films and i like to see it at home,I think is more confortable and enjoy more it. The films I really love cartoons, action and comedy films but I think each movie has a positive and negative message its depend of a point of view. My favorite films is "Cadena de Favores" is an excelent film because it really makes a positive message, this film is a child after their teacher presented a paper on how to improve the world, a project idea to help people: the person receiving help from another, in gratitude, should help other three. And so on.
ResponderEliminarNow a day is unusual to me to see a movie, but if I have to pick one gender I'd choose an action movie or a comedy, well and also clever movies. One clever movie I saw and it really moved me was Beautiful mind, because I couldn't understand why the protagonist wasn't accepted as the other people in the university, that movie was one of the reasons to me to study psicology a few years ago. Because we don't know deeply how our mind acts and that's a very interesting thing to me. Well another movie which is a science-fiction film that I really enjoyed was every single one of Star Wars, all the lazers and the imaginary things that happens in those movies are very creative and not easy to make, not at all.
ResponderEliminarI really love watching movies and of course i am one of them i often go to the cinema, well i think it is depend of the movies that i could go to the cinema there are movies that i prefer watch at home like romantic and drama movies and other i really enjoy watching at the cinema like science fiction fantasy and adventure stories, i consider every movies has a message, sometimes is good sometimes no, for example one of my favorite movies is curious case of benjamin button; this movie is touching, it is just marvelous it is very special this is one of their greatest work to me it is so emocional and this movies has a exellent message "love for ever and ever" it is really amazing.

I had the opportunity to see the rite, bloody Balentine, chills, fast and furious, August Rush, Herbie, among others, and I think that some of them has positives or negatives messages, I think that it depends of as the each person interpret.
